 The Labs will be out and about (maintaining their social distance), hanging out with Lab lovers at Woof Wednesday, September 16 at Debonne Vineyards in Madison.
We invite you to join us as we toast the last of the summer wine... Along with a portion of sales going to help the Labs, Debonne will be offering a tasting flight of LELRR labelled Debonne wines (6 to choose from!) at Woof Wednesday! Event commences at 5pm... $10 to try the 6 wines, they come with 2 dog biscuits, regular goldfish crackers and two bottled waters… snacks for pups & snacks for the dog parents! Our 5th Gala, this one also would have commemorated 25 years in rescue, which is why this decision was so difficult. We are disappointed for many reasons - not being able to celebrate with our supporters and fellow Lab lovers and to show you the work we’ve accomplished since the last Gala. But most of all, watching all of you win some Labulous raffle, silent auction and sideboard items! And boy do we have some amazing items! Over the coming weeks, we will be busy putting together several virtual fundraisers, as well as provide you an opportunity to sponsor our rescue. All this to help raise the medical funds we need to set up for success each Labrador (or Lab mix) we rescue over the coming months - until we all can be together again at our 25+1 Gala in 2021! From all of us to all of you - stay safe and sanitized!   Beginning the week of 5/4, we will begin to spay and neuter our dogs. As promised, LELRR will now be accepting applications for adoption. We ask that you please specify a dog that you are interested in when you complete your applications.
We will only process new applications with the name of a SPECIFIC lab. Labs without names listed are currently not available. If you submitted the application previously (in March or April), please respond to the email you received from us and let us know that you are still interested. If you have a specific dog you are interested in, let us know that as well. YOU MUST RESPOND TO THE EMAIL IF YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED AN APPLICATION, OR YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. Please know that we have upwards of 25 applications to process, along with new ones that come in. We will process the applications that we have previously received first unless we receive an application for a specific dog listed on Petfinder WITH A NAME AND DESCRIPTION. We will do our best to move the applications through the system as quickly as possible--if you notify your veterinarian and references we will be calling, that will help to expedite things.
